Beyond the norm - my one-of-a-kind jackets created using sweatshirts are more accurately described as 'couture jackets'. The concept isn't new, but my endless creative jackets and techniques certainly ARE! Learn techniques for styling, necklines, creative closures, sleeve and cuff treatments, hems, twin needling, stabilizing edges, dyeing, using bias silk ribbon in a myriad or different ways, pieced trim, couching and MUCH more.
You'll never again look for a sweatshirt without a bottom band when you learn how I transform that band into different collars and front finishes.
65 Jackets are pictured, with short descriptions of the techniques used in the GALLERY portion of the book. Techniques are then completely instructed in the TEXT portion of the book. Feel free to 'copy' any of my jackets, or use my ideas to jumpstart your own creativity...
